Nevada Senate 1 - Assembly 1 and 17 - Voter Registration and Turnout
This post contains active voter registration and active voter turnout information for:
- Nevada Senate District 1
- Assembly District 1
- Assembly District 17
Data was sourced from the Nevada Clark County Election Department’s Voter List. https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/government/departments/elections/index.php
Only data for registered voters that the Clark County Election Department has identified as Active are included. Data for registered voters identified as Inactive have not been included.
Active Voters - Registration by Age
The line charts have ten age categories, most with ten years in each.
- 18 to 27
- 28 to 37
- 38 to 47
- 48 to 57
- 58 to 67
- 68 to 77
- 78 to 87
- 88 to 97
- 98 to 107
- 108+
Voters’ ages are an estimate derived from their year of birth. The Clark County Voter List contains the voter’s birth year, but not the specific month and day. An estimated age for each voter was arrived at by subtracting their birth year from the current year.
Active Voters - Turnout History
- Each individual voter’s history is determined separately, then all voters’ records are rolled-up to Assembly and State Senate levels.
- An individual’s voting history follows them to their current district. If they voted in past elections, even if they lived in another district, this voting history is now assigned to their current district.
- An individual’s party designation, even for all historical elections, is assigned to their current party. A limitation of using the Voter List is that its structure does not allow for reporting party changes.
